“Lupercalia was an ancient, possibly pre-Roman pastoral annual festival, observed in the city of Rome on February 15, to avert evil spirits and purify the city, releasing health and fertility. It’s said to be the origins of Valentine’s Day.”
So, to bring some warmth and good vibes to mid-February in Liverpool, we decided to party like the old pagans and Romans did: with food, drinks and music! (PS: we’re in 2019 so animal sacrifices are strictly not on the agenda!!!)
Peter Martin (Old Rope) and Ivan Thunders (of Thee Lucifer Sams /Liverpool Psychedelic Society/ The Gentle Scars ) will guide you through a full day’s worth of FREE entertainment. Join us at any point, from 12pm to 12am, at three top Liverpool Baltic Triangle venues: The Bagelry, Hobo Kiosk and Gibberish Brewpub.
