A NEW, FREE MUSIC FESTIVAL IN THE HEART OF THE BALTIC TRIANGLE

BalticFest is a new free festival taking place in four venues over three days of the second May bank holiday. We’re bringing you acoustic live acts, all vinyl DJs and interactive art, all in some of our favourite Baltic Triangle cafés.
Coffee and Turntables have hand-picked some of our fave guest DJs to bring you tunes outside in the streets, while the music artists have all been selected by the Liverpool Psychedelic Society. On top of all that there will also be a record fair for you to get some bargains on disc, pop up pizza, a local artisan market and the Liverpool Psych Lab, an immersive and interactive experience with psychedelic projections and lights, musical instruments, dreamachine and photo & art exhibition.
PLEASE NOTE: All DJ & Live Music events will take place outdoors, and public attendance will be limited to the outdoor seating normally provided by the venues involved, i.e. first come, first served – venues might reserve the right to turn attendees away if no more tables are available, so come early! All events will comply with the most up-to-date Health & Safety advice and regulations in place, including social distancing, track & trace, sound levels as ambient backing music etc. For any queries, please contact us.

CREATE YOUR OWN CULTURE
Live Music
The Liverpool Psychedelic Society has organised a dozen unique performers who’ll bring acoustic, live music outside two venues in the Baltic Triangle: Chapters of Us (Friday 28th May) and VAULT (Saturday 29th May).
DJ Sets
Coffee and Turntables DJs will bring music to the streets of the Baltic Triangle – taking over four cafés over three days (from Friday 28th to Sunday 30th May). Full schedule of DJs to be announced soon.
LIVERPOOL PSYCH LAB
The Liverpool Psych Lab will be an immersive, interactive art exhibition with posters, photography, video projections on the walls, lasers, psychedelic lights and musical instruments you can try out. It’ll showcase art by new local artists and also tell the story of the Liverpool Psychedelic Society… so far!
Record Fair
The festival will include the now traditional Baltic Record Fair, inside The Baltic Roastery on Jamaica St (Saturday 29th May), while DJs play outside. Host One Nathan Under A Groove will bring you a wide range of genres on wax. Come bag yourself a bargain.
The Venues
The events will take place over Friday evening and Saturday and Sunday daytime. There are four venues. Chapters of Us, 92 Degrees, VAULT and Coffee & Fandisha.
Good Market
Our friends at Good Liverpool will be hosting an amazing and unmissable Market event on Sunday 30th May at Chapters Of Us in the Baltic! (Good Liverpool are also behind Good Morning who C&T curate playlists for).
Shopping, food, drinks, music, Q&As and maybe even some live demos from their fantastic retailers!
Oh did we mention it’s FREE?!
Urban Crust pop up
On Friday 28th May the amazing Urban Crust are at Chapters of Us slinging out their epic pizzas, keep an eye out for their menu drop soon.
Urban Crust strive to make the best sourdough pizza they can, using the best ingredients. You’ll need to get a table early – remember this event is just outside seating only and limited capacity.
